How many summons are in ff13

I suggest to have someone in your party cast Shell and Protect to lessen the damage that you get from Bahamut. Start off by debuffing Bahamut. Have one of your party be a Sentinel preferably Fang and the two becomes a Ravager.

Keep on attacking Bahamut until the Gestalt Gault fills up. Character: Hope Chapter: Start off the battle with Alexander by shifting to Delta Attack Paradigm. Have Fang be the Sentinel while Hope and Lightning do the attack. Keep on doing it this until the Gestalt Meter fills up. Character: Vanille Chapter: Start off the fight by having Vanille be the Ravanger and Fang be the Sentinel. They represent the Aurora Borealis and the Aurora Astralis, which sounds like a fair-enough explanation to justify the change.

Sazh is a polarizing character. Some love to include him in their party, while others leave him in reserves for as long as possible. Brynhildr is heavy metal, and her Gestalt form only takes the badassery further by turning this red and gold transformer into a steampunk race car. Talk about versatility. In FF13, Odin will perform a charge with this weapon along with Lightning for his final move, which shares the name. If you could reliably predict the outcome of Zantetsuken, you could break the game — and you sort-of can, thanks to a particular exploit.

Consequently, teamwork with this Eidolon is very dependent on the situation you find yourself in and will require one-the-spot analysis to figure out which Paradigm will work best. A Summon as quintessential to the FF series as the beloved Final Fantasy VII, Bahamut has had several mythological interpretations throughout human civilization from being a sea monster, to a serpent, to a dragon. Overall, Bahamut is a very solid Eidolon.

Its only real drawback is that, when entering Gestalt Mode and becoming a flying unit, Bahamut has a tendency to miss the Pulsar Burst attack on some ground-based enemies. The Pulsar Burst is a burst of light energy emitted by Bahamut that has a wide radius and will inflict damage in a myriad of small hits.

To get into Gestalt Mode, Fang has several avenues that she can take. The Commando path is quite self-explanatory: the more damage Fang inflicts on the target the greater the bonus is towards the Gestalt. With the Sentinel Paradigm, she can fill out the gauge from receiving damage from powerful enemies. Lastly, as a Saboteur has a more hands-off approach, all she needs to do is cast AoE spells and watch the Chains rise as Bahamut takes care of everything.

Some say the world will end in ice. Shiva is based on the Hindu god of destruction of the same name, although there are several other interpretations pulled from a multitude of sources that float around in the aether of the Final Fantasy community.

Shiva is unique amongst the Eidolons because the summon consists of two sisters, Stiria and Nix. Fitting with the narrative of FF13, only one of the sisters will actually be targeted by enemies in combat unless it involves AoE attacks. Instead, the two sisters perform distinct roles to aid Snow in battle. In addition to the standard array of Blizzard attacks, the untargetable Stiria will take on a supporting role akin to a Medic and Synergist. Nix, on the other hand, will be throwing out powerful physical spells like Blitz, Launch, and Ruin.

This makes her a very useful companion as the Chain Bonus can be increased more swiftly, provided that Snow shifts into the Ravager paradigm. A much more liberal interpretation of the All-father, Odin still remains very recognizable.
